Hello everybody! I have had so much fun visiting with Mrs. Bond's class (she has been out due to a family emergency, but the substitute tried to keep me entertained). Today we learned about the food chain....MY food chain!!! We researched what the mammoth might have eaten and what predators might have preyed upon me. The theory that we read about stated that I ate plants, roots and herbs. Early humans were most likely my main predator, but I probably became extinct because of the Ice Age's impact on plant life. Here is a picture of me eating a plant, and a human trying to come after me with a spear-like weapon.

That is really cool that you learned about your food chain, Wally! I'm glad you are learning new things. Do you think it is right that "early humans" would have killed your species? Do you think that it was because they thought the woolly mammoths did something? Please explain why you think your answers. Have fun, Wally! Bye.
ReplyDeletemamoths died becuse of humans hunting them
ReplyDeleteWere there any other predators who ate woolly mammoths?
ReplyDeleteI think it is cool that Wally got to eat a plant in your class.
Or could woolly mammoths eat other things beside herbs and plants? Also I think that woolly mamth also died because of the tempeture.
ReplyDeleteI think Wally had lots of fun eating a plant finally. When he was in PA I don't think he had any plants. I mean it is his food chain.
ReplyDeleteplease dress Wally. It is very interesting for me to learn about Wally's food chain. When Wally was in Pennsylvania he didn't get to eat plants. Thank you for giving Wally plants to eat.Now he is not hungry.
